Walking in Norway, I found these little small house. It just fits one person and it is situated at the gate of the important building. I thought it was just a play house of some short but if you walk around the Norwegian place, you will find similar little houses. They serve as a place for guard to stand in so they are protected in the rain and wind.
I have never seen them anywhere else but it make sense to have these little hut. In Japan, police men stand with their raincoats on but with these little huts they do not need such coats to protect them. I guess these huts also keep them little warm in the winter time.
