What No Salt ?!

So, I was waiting for the plane to Norway in London and I decided to eat a bite before I get on the train because I had 5 hours to kill. There were so many things on the menu but I was not really in the mood to try something new. Partly because I was jet-lagged and I really did not enjoy the food on the airplane so I needed to make sure that food tasted alright.

So I chose a safe bet of Tuna Melt with fries. But surprisingly, french fries did not have any salt on them. Even in Japan, little may it is there are some salt. But these did not have any. I have heard of the British ways but I just got off the plane and I had no time to process everything. What a surprise it was.

It is quite interesting that how much spices you use differ depending on the countries and also depending on the region. What other countries do not use much salt?
