What Do You Do At the Festival

 

In Japan, you will find yourself surrounded by little booth both in summer time and winter time. Usually, these booth are put up when there are festival in the temple,shrine or by the city. Most of the booth are dedicated to food but you can find the booth for entertainments.  

One of the most common entertainments is catching the golf fish with a scoper made of thin paper. Depending on the booth, there are different rules but usually, you can get as much goldfish as you can catch.  It is quite hard to catch a fish with a thin paper thus there are even competition for this entertainment. Once you get a fish, the store keeper would put the fish in the plastic bag and hand you a fish.  Similarly, you can also try out trying to scoop up some small plastic balls. 

Another entertainments famous during the festival is shooting game. You have couple time to shoot the price. If you can get it to fall down, you will be able to get the price. It is quite difficult to do but it is a quite popular entertainment during the festival season.
