Top 10 Romantic Places in Japan

1.Odaiba

Odaiba has been the famous romantic place since the 90s, shown in romantic videos. It has a great view of the Rainbow bridge and at night, you can see great views of the city lights. There are shopping area, fairs wheel, arcade, LEGO land, wax museum ... etc.  So you can spend entire day in this area.

2. Minatomirai

Minatomirai is walking distance from Yokohama station. To me, it is a smaller version of Odaiba. There are museums, fairs wheel, amusement park, arcade. Located by Red Brick building, there are lots to see in the area. You c
an ride on the roller coasters, watch movies, shopping, and have a walk around the city.

3.    Disney Land /Disney Sea

One of the popular places for the couple to go in Tokyo area is Disney land. Whither you like Disney characters or not, you will find yourself enjoying yourself in this Magic Kingdom. If you stay late in the park, you will be able to see the fireworks and the electric parade.

4. Yuigahama

Beach can always be a romantic place to go in any season. In the summer time, you may find yourself surrounded by millions of people at the beach but you can always find a place to have a moment with you and your loved one.  Perhaps, taking a walk along the beach or taking cute pictures.

5.  Aquariums

There are many great aquariums in Japan.  Visiting one of those aquariums is quite fun. What is romantic about aquarium is that aquariums are dim lit, colorful fish swimming. You may find yourself holding hands and just hoping for more.

6. Sky Tree

Sky Tree is the tallest tower in Japan, built over aquarium and shopping area. It is quite exciting to walk around the  shopping area. The aquarium has a very large area for penguins. The view from the tower is not quite what I expected to see but what I liked about the Sky Tree is that you can get original items only sold at Sky Tree.

7.  Jiyugaoka

Fun of little cafes? Jiyugaoka is a great place for a couple who loves to discover new cafe/new restaurants.  Every time I walk around, I find a new little place. Mexican, Japanese, Italian, Spanish... there is an even Peter Rabbit cafe.

8. Yoyuogi Koen
Yoyogi koen is my favorite park of all time in Tokyo area.  Sitting by the pound with a water fountain makes you feel calm. You can play with balls or Frisbee, rent bicycles, or just lay down on the grass. It's relaxing .

9.  Enoshima Island
Myth is that if you can put a lock with your name and your partner's name on the fence of Enoshima Island, your relationship will last forever. But another myth that I have told said that a woman who died waiting for her husband in Enoshima is around the area and she is there to separate the couple. Any way, Enoshima area has a very beautiful beach and the island itself is a fun place to take a walk in as there are several interesting shops in the area and the shrine

10. Sagamiko Illumillion
Sagamiko Illumillion is only opened in winter season but it is one of my favorite place to go in the winter time. The lights are decorated in such a beautiful way, it takes your breath away.  Music and lights are used to create the harmony.

I am pretty sure there are many other romantic places in Japan. If you have any other suggestion let us know.
